R404a refrigerant gas is a refrigerant that is not harmful to the ozone layer and was created as a long-term alternative to R22 in commercial refrigeration at low and medium temperatures.
Being considered a slightly zeotropic mixture it is necessary that the systems are loaded only with refrigerant in the liquid phase, not with steam, as doing so would cause an alteration in the original composition of the refrigerant, with potential risk of damaging the system.
